i don't know why it is that once the pieces start fitting into the book, that everything feels like its shredding...
i look for the novel and find the notes...
i look at the stories but don't see chapters...
he told me he doesn't fit.
he told me that he couldn't be boxed in.
he told me that he was busy when he fell into his own thought spirals to come to a conclusion. then he kissed me and set to work.
the storm in his eyes belies the fire i saw that night.
the calm he exudes is really the calm he craves.
this need to grasp some elusion of control over himself, is the exact elusion of having no control over me.
and the pages turn,
and i forget to understand the words,
and the ink in my pen runs dry.
