i've never had it happen like that before

what if that is where it ends
what if that space where i find my peace is gone forever

it aches
and i don't know why i ripped myself from the grasp of something so beautiful

it was everywhere
and i fell in love before i ever met him
i fell in love with everything he had touched

i pace trying to understand
how all these hearts that are so close to me are finding their homes
and mine feels so lost and so far from where it should be
where it needs to be
and i wait

but i won't know because i seem to have forgotten how to listen to my heart
i need to shuit the noise off
